The Drumline was founded in 1999 as an extention of the Kickapoo Golden Arrow Band. Open for audition to any member of the Band, the Drumline is a group of highly motivated group of students dedicated to both musical and academic success.  Members of the Drumline develop musically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and physically during their time in the program.  Character building and life-skills development are foundational to the group's existence.  The Drumline has two major seasons - Fall outdoor and Winter/Spring indoor.  During the first season, the Drumline is part of the award winning Kickapoo Marching Band.  Following the outdoor season the group transisitions into the Winter and Spring season.  For this season, the Drumline works to create innovative and unique indoor programs offering its students a once-in-a-lifetime experience.  Productions are original and are custom designed each year for the members.  The Drumline has performed in various locations across the United States while participating in both the MCCGA and WGI circuts.  The Kickapoo Drumline is a consistant WGI finalist and earned the PSA silver medal at the 2010 WGI World Championships.  Our performance season begins in early February and ends mid-April.  In addition to the work of the staff and students, the Drumline also recognizes the work of the parent booster organization KIMBC.  Without their support, we could not do what we do.
